Palantir has turned enterprise AI spending into measurable commercial growth. Revenue reached $1.935 billion in the second quarter, up 93% year over year. U.S. commercial revenue climbed 149% to $764 million. The figures show businesses are paying for AI software at scale.
Until now, investors questioned whether enterprise AI can move beyond pilots. Palantir now provides stronger evidence of commercial adoption. Its latest results combine rapid sales growth, larger contracts, rising profits, and substantial cash generation.
Palantir’s Revenue Growth Is Accelerating
Palantir delivered broad growth across its business during the quarter. U.S. revenue rose 115% to $1.573 billion. Commercial revenue worldwide increased 110% to $945 million. Government revenue climbed 79% to $990 million.
However, U.S. commercial growth delivered the strongest acceleration. Revenue reached $764 million, increasing 149% from a year earlier. U.S. commercial contract value reached $2.132 billion, up 153%.
In addition, the customer base expanded alongside revenue. Palantir ended the quarter with 653 U.S. commercial customers. Customer count increased 35% year over year.
As a result, management raised its full-year outlook. Palantir now expects revenue between $8.15 billion and $8.158 billion. Management also expects U.S. commercial revenue above $3.424 billion.
Enterprise AI Is Moving Into Real Operations
Palantir connects AI capabilities with customer data and operational workflows. Its Artificial Intelligence Platform supports deployments across commercial and government organizations.
Moreover, the approach focuses on applying AI within existing business processes. Customers can expand platform use after initial deployments. Consequently, successful deployments can create opportunities for broader adoption.
Additionally, contract growth reinforces the demand signal. U.S. commercial remaining deal value reached $6.238 billion, up 124% year over year. However, contract value does not equal recognized revenue. Customers must still deploy contracted products before Palantir records sales.
Commercial Demand Is Changing the AI Spending Story
Right now, Palantir’s commercial performance strengthens the case for enterprise AI monetization. Businesses are signing larger contracts while commercial revenue accelerates. The trend shows stronger willingness to fund AI within core operations.
Furthermore, profitability adds another important dimension. Palantir reported $1.062 billion in net income during the quarter. Adjusted free cash flow reached $1.22 billion.
As a result, Palantir is converting demand into revenue, earnings, and cash generation. Still, one company’s performance cannot validate every enterprise AI investment. Instead, Palantir provides a concrete commercial example. Businesses will commit significant budgets when AI addresses operational needs.
The Next Test Is Sustaining the Growth
However, Palantir now faces a tougher challenge. The company must sustain rapid growth while expanding beyond its strongest market.
U.S. revenue grew 115% during the quarter. Revenue outside the United States increased only 34%. There have also been European concerns around digital sovereignty that could restrict international expansion. Therefore, international performance represents an important test for Palantir. The company must show whether commercial momentum can spread across more markets.
For now, Palantir has delivered a significant signal for enterprise AI. Businesses are spending when AI becomes embedded within real operations. Palantir has shown how commercial demand can translate into revenue and cash flow. The next challenge involves proving that momentum can endure.
